Join the Dowling Society
The prestigious Dowling Society recognizes individuals for their significant support for eye and vision research. We warmly welcome your interest in joining this special group of donors with a gift of $10,000 or more to support the ARVO Foundation.
Contribution requirements
- Members of the Dowling Society have make a pledge or donation to the Foundation for $10,000 or more.
- A spouse/partner may be added to a Dowling Society membership for an additional contribution of $5,000.
- New members may make their contribution as a single donation or pay in annual or semi-annual installments over a maximum of 5 years.
Member recognition
- The ARVO Foundation welcomes new members with a commemorative medal and pin at a special reception just for Dowling Society members before the ARVO Foundation Gala; both events take place the Saturday evening before the ARVO Annual Meeting begins.
- All Dowling Society members are listed on the ARVO Foundation website, in the annual report, and in the Gala program.
