Travel Grants

ARVO and the ARVO Foundation are proud to provide young investigators with opportunities to present their work and build their networks with the financial support of a travel grant. Even if you plan on attending virtually, you can still apply for a travel grant to receive free meeting registration.

Apply for a travel grant when you submit your abstract. Abstracts for ARVO 2022 are being accepted up to Jan. 7, 2022.

Travel grants cover Annual Meeting registration fees for all recipients. For those attending the Meeting in person (Denver, Colo.), a stipend to help cover travel expenses is included.

Travel grants are provided to those whose research findings in the abstract are considered to be of high interest to the vision and ophthalmology research community. Recipients must have an accepted abstract for the upcoming ARVO Annual Meeting to be considered. Travel grant recipients who participate in the meeting virtually will remain eligible to receive a travel grant to attend the meeting in person in future years.
