Presenter information
Congratulations on being selected to present your research during the 2022 Annual Meeting. Below are key dates to note:
March 3 | Abstract scheduling notification sent to First Authors |
March 31 | First Authors required to select in person or virtual |
April 1 | Upload instructions sent to First Authors |
April 15 | Registration and presentation upload deadline for Paper and Poster presenters |
All presentations are scheduled during the in-person portion of the Meeting from May 1-4, regardless of whether the presenter is in person or virtual. Your expected presentation experience is outlined below. More information will be available as we approach the Meeting.
If presenting in Denver
- Paper presenters will upload their slides to the speaker ready portal, or onsite in the speaker ready room. Presentations will occur live at the meeting and will be recorded. Presenters must consent to having their presentation recorded for upload into ARVO's virtual meeting platform.
- Poster presenters will print their poster for display in the Poster Hall. Presenters will also be required to upload a PDF to the virtual meeting platform and will have the option to include a supplemental video as well.
If presenting virtually
- Paper presenters will record and upload a presentation video to be played during the in-person meeting. During the session, attendees will view the recorded presentation and then Presenters will have the opportunity to log in via Zoom for a live Q&A. Presenters must consent to having their presentation recorded for upload into ARVO's virtual meeting platform.
- Poster presenters will create a PDF poster and, if desired, a supplemental video. All files will be uploaded to the virtual platform. At the time of their session, Presenters are encouraged to be logged into the virtual platform to chat with attendees viewing their poster. New this year will be the opportunity to join a Zoom room to have a live conversation with one or multiple people during the session.
NOTE: Please continue to check this page leading up to the Meeting for additional instructions and detailed guidelines for presenters.
